Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.
Job Summary
This position will execute document management responsibilities as well as being a system admin for Charybdis HSE, Maintenance and Inventory management system (Sertica).
Specific expectation include:
- Working closely with Sertica and the vessel crew to manage system access, specific role assignments, workflows and upgrades.
- Organizing, storing, retrieving and archiving documents. Maintaining version control and ensuring accuracy of metadata fields. Creating, tracking and ensuring timely completion of document related workflows. Acting as liaison between both internal and external customers to ensure smooth flow of documents and information.
- Ensuring the accuracy of document metadata. Creating placeholders for document uploads. Responding to specific mail types. Transmitting documents between Dominion Energy and external vendors. Developing and running reports during the lifecycle of Charybdis.
- Partner with Information Technology team to drive process improvements for all core all vessel management applications.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience in directly related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) and SharePoint.
- Ability to multi-task in a team environment. Team player with strong customer focus skills, must be able to effectively interface with both application users, the project team, and external vendors.
- Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Job Qualification: 2 years of experience coordinating cloud-based user applications. Familiar with document management application such as Aconex, Documentum, or any other cloud-based document systems. General knowledge of wind turbine installation vessel operations.
Education Requirements
Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelors
Preferred discipline(s): Business Administration or Business/IT related fields.
