Field Metering Services - Project Employee

Job Summary

This individual will perform specific duties in the FMS department. Typical duties assigned will include:


1. Identify and report atmospheric corrosion by performing atmospheric corrosion surveys.
2. Perform DOT inspections.
3. Perform meter reading functions.
4. Operates and maintains a company vehicle and vehicle inventory in a neat and orderly manner.
5. Operates associated data entry devices as required.
6. Prepares documents and reports as required by the work assigned.


* *  This is a temporary, project related position.  The candidate who fills this position will not be a permanent employee and will have no guarantee of employment beyond the end of the project.  The project position will have a primary term of two (2) years ending on December 31st, 2021. Working hours will be eight (8) hour shifts between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. 90% Outside work, majority of the day spent walking and/or driving rural and city routes to complete meter inspections.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum Requirements (Please make sure your resume clearly states how you meet these requirements):

  • High School diploma, GED or above.

 

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with PC’s and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work various shifts (nights, weekends and holidays).
