Job Summary

This positions will develop, implement and coordinate planning, estimating and cost controls for power station construction projects.  Prepare cost estimates and develop and present for management approval? detailed power station construction project schedules.  Develop, implement, and maintain cost plan based on approved estimates and schedules.   Monitor actual project cost and/or work status data to ensure project is proceeding on schedule and within budget.   Prepare, implement, and manage budgets and analyze monthly cost reports. Coordinate management and staff the use of controls equipment and facilities.  Conduct meetings with contractors and company personnel on cost control matters.   Interface with other departments to coordinate and integrate support requirements on construction schedules.   Evaluate project field and scope changes for impact on cost and/or schedule and update project budgets.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum of 2 years finance and accounting experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong personnel computer skills including Maximo, SAP, DocTop, Microsoft Office Suite, Plant Access Management System (PAMS), P3e Scheduling Tool. Demonstrates high level of ownership for own responsibilities, persists through adversity and follows through with commitments. Demonstrates high level integrity, safety, professionalism and appropriate behavior driven results. Proactively communicates information and decisions to personnel and station leaders in a manner that is honest, direct and meaningful. Demonstrated ability to understand a wide variety of topics and be sufficiently intrusive to ensure all work items under their area of responsibility are produced with the highest of quality including technical accuracy.

Education Requirements

Associate Degree from a recognized college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. 

Note:  Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
