We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity. 



 

 

Job Summary

Serve as the principal or lead discipline scheduler. Perform the development, posting, and managing online stations schedules that includes emergent and pre-outage activities. Works closely with Work Week Managers and the Operations Planning & Scheduling group to develop, update, modify, maintain and post an integrated online maintenance schedules that includes emergent and pre-outage activities along with short, unplanned outage schedule. Incorporate station defined milestones into the Level One Schedule along with developing Level 2 and 3 schedules which include all logic ties between disciplines. Develops Gantt charts/Fragnets for critical work. Tracks all High and Medium value PMs within allowed grace periods, not to exceed 50% grace and re-schedule when not performed. Update schedules using approved station changes (OLSCR). Develop resource loaded schedules to maximize shop resources for the given discipline for all work weeks. When requested, develop and implement trending of critical and near critical path activities. When requested, produce resource histograms as required. Analyzes critical path impacts based on schedule changes. Supports operations by creating and updating time scaled logic and bar chart diagrams, customized schedules and reports

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:

5+ years directly related experience demonstrating advanced knowledge of craft specialty and/or nuclear operations, as well as experience preparing maintenance (PM/CM/Outage) schedules.

In lieu of preferred related Associate's degree, may substitute High School diploma/GED and 7+ years of directly related experience.

Considerable knowledge and work experience in project planning and work management. Knowledge of company software and systems used for scheduling outages. Proficiency in Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule analysis, with considerable experience in the use of a computer, spreadsheet applications and on-line scheduling software. Proven ability to prepare and present technical information and data in a variety of formats. Previous experience working with LAN-based project scheduling tools. Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work of self and others, and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience through effective interaction with various levels of employees and management. Demonstrates strong analytical and abstract thinking skills, good problem solving skills, and skill in determining the impact of changing variables on plant operations. Ability to process information and make decisions quickly in a fast paced environment. Detail-oriented.
