Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Supervisor for the Automation & Event Analysis group within the Electric Transmission department of Dominion Energy Virginia (DEV).
Automation & Event Analysis strategically deploys monitoring equipment and in-house diagnostic tools to enable teams across Dominion Energy to expedite restoration of service, direct fact-finding investigations, and facilitate NERC compliance activities. Our vertically integrated ownership of sensor data and cross-disciplinary electrical engineering, software development, and data processing skillset allows us to safeguard electric grid reliability through 24/7 fault analysis, thorough records of past disturbances, and high-resolution historical voltage and current data.
This role is located in Glen Allen, VA and works a hybrid schedule. Relocation assistance may be offered to the successful candidate
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledte, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
7+ years of significant directly related experience required.
Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills.
Demonstrated ability to process information quickly and effectively manage multiple tasks.
Strong conflict resolution skills. Strong planning and organizing and project management skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing). Proven decision making skills.
Knowledge of business/financial and contractual matters.In-depth knowledge of engineering theories and principles.
Demonstrated ability to think analytically and solve complex problems. Demonstrated ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
