Job Summary

Explores advances in technology for applications in Dominion Nuclear to reduce complexity and enable the organization to maximize business value. Develops and executes strategies to ensure they deliver value to the bottom line, add value to the organizational processes, improve process efficiency and ultimately enhance plant performance /reliability. Manages or supports specific phases of the leveraging technology initiative including project identification, business case and scope development, benchmarking and implementation activities. Assembles project team, assigns individual responsibilities, and identifies appropriate resources needed. Develops schedule to ensure project deadlines are met, and the project is completed on time. Directs and monitors the work of team members, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. Monitor project progress and results. May lead subordinate personnel and coordinate personnel activities. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum of 7 years of experience in power plant design, construction, or operation with at least 1 year power plant experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred, or the equivalency in years of experience will be accepted.

Must have experience writing policy, along with demonstrated leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines.

Must possess the ability to resolve complex and diverse technical and management issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings;Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees, management and outside representatives.Strong team building skills, demonstrated skill and ability in effectively leading teams to achieve project goals and milestones.Effective negotiation skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.Ability to develop, manage and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules.Ability to coordinate the resolution of technical problems and implement changes.Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Disciplines: Preferred: Business,Engineering,Information Technology
