Job Summary
The Nuclear Fleet SLR Project Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and recommending improvements in processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations during Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) project activities. Takes a new perspective on existing solutions. Coordinates the SLR self-evaluation program. Facilitates monthly project scorecards by partnering with SLR Project Managers, including gathering task statuses from team members. Participates in and/or facilitates root-cause analysis and self-assessment teams on corrective action cases for SLR activities. Develops and maintains SLR communication plan, which includes Pandemic response, Business Continuity plan and overall SLR communications. Provides guidance on Gap Driver Analysis Reports (GDARS) and serves as the SLR point of contact. May lead projects or project steps within the broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives. Serves as a resource for colleagues with less experience, to determine significance and level of effort for adverse station conditions as related to SLR project activities (requiring in-depth working knowledge of Operating Experience process and interface with 10CFR21). Performs in the role of facilitator for regular meetings to reinforce adherence to process and expectations for individual contributors and leadership around SLR activities. Provides periodic analysis and updates for various corporate performance metrics. Creates and updates reporting and training materials as related to SLR activities. Sets up and prepares for meetings, develops presentation materials, records action items, issues, risks, etc. and shares them with attendees. This position works closely with management as the champion of the overall SLR project, monitoring to ensure adverse conditions and trends are discovered and acted upon in a timely manner.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
-Minimum 5 years of directly related experience (with preferred related Bachelor's degree);
In lieu of preferred related Bachelor's degree, may substitute related Associate's degree and 7+ years of directly related experience or High School diploma/GED and 9+ years of directly related experience that demonstrates knowledge of relevant fundamental theories, principles and concepts.
-Understanding of nuclear processes and project management principles;
-Possesses positive attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment where effective communications and organizational skills will be keys to success;
- Ability to understand technology issues and their potential impact to the business or project is required;
-Excellent oral communication skills with experience in facilitating group discussions;
-Excellent written communication skills and ability to compile, interpret and present data to senior management;
-Prefer working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP and PAMS/Maximo
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
