Job Summary

Dominion Energy seeks an Human Resources Administrator- HRBE to join our Human Resources Team. This position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The Business Performance Analyst has the following primary responsibilities:

 

 This role involves:

 

  • performing moderately complex administrative and analytical tasks, contributing to the effectiveness of HR operations through data management, reporting, and collaboration with HR teams and leadership.
  • Perform a full range of administrative duties to support HR functions, including data entry, report generation, and document management.
  • Collaborate with HR management and staff to identify and address human resources needs and process improvements.
  • Conduct research, compile and analyze HR-related data to support programs and policy development.
  • Conducts a variety of routine to moderately complex HR issues and initiatives to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
  • Responsible for understanding various HR processes, researching issues and questions, and communicating the resolution. 
  • Respond to requests for compensation data to support business presentations and decision-making.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports using varied data sources and formats; perform basic analysis and quality reviews.
  • Provide ongoing support to HR Business Partners, including creating position numbers, revising job summaries, and assisting with onboarding processes.
  • Assist with the resolution of HR ServiceNow tickets.
  • Resolve discrepancies and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across administrative and professional levels.
  • Utilize HR systems and related technology to enter, store, and retrieve employee information and generate reports. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):

The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in HR systems, support or administrative roles preferred.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Required (equivalency not acceptable):

 High School diploma / GED required.
