Job Summary

The continued success of Dominion Energy’s Nuclear division not only requires the contributions of our committed team of full-time employees but on its extensive network of vendor partners. The scope and scale of these vendor engagements are generally complicated, and to help improve the management of these partnerships, the Nuclear Project Management Digital team is adding a Generation Project Manager (“PM”).

The Innsbrook Technical Center, located in Glen Allen, VA, is the highly preferred location for this single open position.  However, the role can be based out of our Millstone, North Anna, Surry, or VC Summer Power Stations.

Essentially, the PM will serve as a ‘traffic cop’ for the multiple stakeholders involved with the digital upgrade projects. Dominion Energy is upgrading their nuclear power plant operating systems to a digital platform over the next decade. This position will capture and organize a myriad of contractual and project details that will empower various Dominion Energy stakeholders to more effectively execute digital projects on time and on budget.  The PM will be directly involved in the structuring of new projects/contracts and working through changes to current engagements.  In all aspects of their role, the PM will need to communicate with precision and purpose to avoid misunderstandings and conflicts.  When conflicts do arise, the PM will play a central role in working through issues in a productive manner.

Beyond the immediate action items tied to managing current engagements, the PM will be responsible for creating and implementing improved management tools and reports for the future.
