We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
This role serves as a technical expert in utility and transportation co-location, offering strategic guidance on regulatory compliance and SCC filings. It is responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with other linear utility and transportation organizations to support collaborative efforts and shared initiatives. The position engages directly with industry professionals, government agencies, and advocacy groups to promote best practices and ensure program excellence. Acting as a liaison between internal Dominion Energy departments (including Design, Standards, and Construction) and external partners, the role drives innovation in electric transmission routing and constructability strategies. Through independent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation, the role works to remove barriers and refine internal standards and processes. It provides regular updates, strategic recommendations, and proactive action plans to management, while serving as a Subject Matter Expert and coordinator across all levels of leadership. Additionally, the role delivers technical expertise and policy insights on transportation and utility co-location issues, including legislative developments and regulatory changes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
Minimum of 6-8 years directly related experience (of which at least 3 years must be Utility-specific experience); In-depth knowledge of industry codes, government regulations and company policies and practices; Strong leadership skills; Ability to represent the company in public forums; Ability to resolve problems and process information quickly; Experience with contract negotiations and conflict resolution; Ability to work collaboratively and productively with internal and external stakeholders; Ability to work with and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff; Demonstrated strong technical writing skills and technical documentation ability; Effective presentation skills; Experience in process improvement and process development; Strong interpersonal communication skills; Ability to work and to make decisions independently; Ability to network and build relationships with external stakeholders and industry professionals.

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelors
