Job Summary
The position is responsible for various technical and administrative duties necessary to support the ETFO field organization in the maintenance, installation, and corrective actions associated with Dominion’s Transmission, Distribution, and Generating network. Under direct supervision from Tech/Senior/Lead technician, duties to be performed include, but not limited to: Prepares material and equipment for work activities. Ensuring test equipment availability. Pulling stock materials. Printing work orders. Order parts and materials. Returning equipment to manufacturer for warranty repair. Manage test equipment calibration program. Operates company vehicle as required to support duties. Delivery of parts and materials to job sites. Vehicle inspections.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
0-1 years of basic knowledge of electrical and electronic theory experience preferred. Effective computer skills with software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiar with control drawings or wiring diagrams and schematics. Prior experience in working with electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical concepts and applications preferred. Prior experience in electrical or electrical system troubleshooting and repairs preferred. Knowledge of test equipment used to perform commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities preferred. Knowledge of software used to perform commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities preferred. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Possess strong organizational skills. Maintains a clean job site and eliminates hazards when identified. Adheres to corporate and departmental safety protocols. Desire to learn and grow within the organization. Due to equipment weight limits, individuals in this role have a weight restriction of 290 pounds. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must live within a reasonable travel range (1 hour) of the service territory.

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range:
Electric Transmission Field Ops Technical Assistant I: $38,200 - $49,600
Electric Transmission Field Ops Technical Assistant II: $42,300 - $54,500
Electric Transmission Field Ops Technical Assistant III: $47,300 - $75,500
The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location. This is not intended to represent the full salary range for the position or limit future compensation growth.
