We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

This position is only available in Power Generation. This role will be located at our Transmission Operations Center in Cayce, South Carolina.

 

This position will work independently with minimal oversight to maintain the cyber security of complex industrial control systems. This position will primarily coordinate, apply, and maintain cyber security software across the Dominion Energy South Carolina Power Generation Industrial Control System (ICS) fleet.

 

Specifically, the responsibilities will include developing budgets to support software patching, negotiating, and initiating contracts for support, coordinating contractors to perform operating system and application software patching, managing purchase orders, and reviewing and verifying the work of others.

This position will also be responsible for escorting contractors on-site and remotely to support software patching, training contractors and/or new employees on software patching procedures and documenting and verifying the quality of post-patch work. This position will perform patch activities remotely and on-site when necessary.

Additionally, this position will assist with installing and configuring Windows computers from the operating system up to the application level, credentials management implementation and maintenance, Industrial Control System logging and monitoring implementation and maintenance, replacement and/or updating of unsupported Industrial Control Systems fleetwide, and other projects assigned.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences required for entry into this job include the following:

  • 5-6+ years related experience.
  • Knowledge and experience desired in:
    • Software security maintenance at the application and operating system level.
    • Leadership and excellent organization.
    • Patch management regarding Microsoft Products.
    • Scripting language.
    • Compatibility testing.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements


Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
