Job Summary

There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities

 

Dominion Energy IT is seeking to fill a Programmer Analyst position.  Under direct and immediate supervision, this position 

  • Assists in writing and maintaining simpler applications
  • Codes from documented logic and instructions
  • Performs limited systems analysis.
  • Works with multiple business units, in a specific platform environment, on specific project assignments.
  • Work is closely checked, and errors may cause minor delay or expense.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Associate Programmer Analyst - 0-2 +  years or Programmer Analyst - 3+ years of strong skillset designing software processes and applications.

  • Basic knowledge of software process design, applications, and producing written use cases, flow diagrams, and system design specifications
  • Salesforce platform experience is a plus.
  • Oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing)
  • Experience with full lifecycle software development (SDLC) methodologies, Agile etc.
  • Effective decision-making skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing)
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to participate effectively in interpersonal exchange and understanding

 

 

The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined below.
•    Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3  plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.
 

Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Other Education: Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics
