Job Summary
Dominion Energy Ohio is looking for a Business Performance Analyst to join the team in Cleveland, OH. This role will prepare, analyze, and present billing and revenue reporting for business processes.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Define and develop performance metrics; analyze and recommend data collection process improvements; and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics.
- Identify and implement better work and business processes.
- Develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies.
- Will support the large volume billing systems and will interact with the following departments: Rates and Regulatory, Accounting and Taxes. In addition, support to other departmental areas (Measurement/Transportation Services) will be required.
- Analyze data from various sources including billing systems, organizing that data and providing that information to several departments.
- Working closely with measurement and transportation departments to ensure accurate data and correct bills.
- Identifying billing discrepancies and correcting.
- Communicating to all necessary parties when completed.
- Entering rates that are directly billed to all customers including residential and commercial.
- Investigation of payments and where they should be posted to.
- Preparing and learning new reports on an as needed basis.
- Communicating directly to internal and external customers is a requirement of this position.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Minimum Requirements (Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):
- 3+ years of directly related work experience with a Bachelors degree; or
- 5+ years of directly related work experience with Associates degree; or
- 7+ years of directly related work experience with an HS/Technical/GED.
- Directly related experience can include analyzing data, customer relations, customer service, and/or any similar experience.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously;
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
- Effective analytical skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet critical deadlines
- Experience in Microsoft excel for reporting purposes.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
