We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
The Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Consultant is a key member of the Dominion Energy Virginia (DEV) Operations Training team and is relied upon to consult on organizational effectiveness strategy and effectively achieve positive business outcomes of the organization. The OE Consultant’s core responsibilities will include accurate monitoring and observations of leadership and teamwork attributes across DEV, and coaching, mentoring, and teaching of DEV leaders to maximize competence in those behaviors. The OE Consultant’s responsibilities also include leading the development of OE strategy and providing oversight on business unit development plans for identified leaders and groups. Analyzing and identifying gaps in leadership and teamwork effectiveness and providing feedback, insights, and recommendations. Coaching and advising leaders on strategies to ensure healthy, productive teams. Assisting in development of leadership training and curriculum. Delivering leadership training material and coaching leaders. Providing oversight and assessment of organizational effectiveness for DEV including monitoring progress and providing periodic updates to DEV senior leadership including OE themes, trends, strengths, and challenges. Monitoring OE performance for the business units, utilizing indicators, input from senior leadership and business partners, assessments, and other external sources. Driving continuous improvement and industry excellence. Leveraging industry opportunities and resources to support continuous improvement through the exchange of information, utilizing said resources, networking and benchmarking. Participating and partnering with Dominion Energy Services Leadership & Development peer team on Dominion Energy company wide initiatives, collaborating on goal alignment and strategy.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
- 7-8+ years of related work experience.
- Solid knowledge of organizational effectiveness, leadership, and teamwork theories, attributes, and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyze, interpret and apply diversified and complex information to improve performance.
- Demonstrated ability to direct, manage, plan, and organize work in a cost-effective manner.
- Demonstrated success in key leadership competencies.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize/manage workflow in an environment where all work is critiqued.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to drive organizational improvements across business units and influence as necessary to gain consistency.
- Ability to work with and develop a rapport with all levels in the organization.
- Experience working with key leaders to resolve issues.
- Ability to engage, influence, coach, and provide critical feedback without position authority across all levels in the organization, including peers and senior leadership.
- Proven effectiveness in building strong relationships with leaders and individual contributors at all levels.
- Ability to support leaders in aligning their people with the right workflows, role design and organizational structure to achieve maximum efficiency and outcomes.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelors
