Job Summary
Supports the project management team by managing specific portions of the project including technical, construction, quality, cost and schedule. Supports development and management of specific portions of project budget and schedule. Provide day to day field coordination with the CQA consultant including safety, construction oversight and coordination including development of system turnover packages, system walkdowns, punch list management, as well as coordination between the civil contractor operations and CQA consultant. In addition to supporting the CQA consultant, support the project team as the Chesterfield Station liaison, the Drill, Dig and Cut (DDC) Coordinator as well as the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Coordinator for all project work.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned. Typically reports to Manager – Project Construction or Project Manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Construction Project Manager II: 3+ years of experience managing projects or managing multi-functional teams in a matrix environment.
Construction Project Manager III: 5+ years of experience managing projects or managing multi-functional teams in a matrix environment.
For both levels:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of materials and transportation coordination and logistics, particularly involving rail and/or barging.
 - Some station and engineering experience, preferred.
 - Knowledgeable in Drill, Dig and Cut (DDC) and Lock Out, Tag Out (LOTO) requirements for an active power facility.
 - Must have good technical and cost management skills.
 - Strong communication and integration skills are required.
 - Ability to coordinate processes and provide leadership in a team environment.
 - Ability to analyze information and made sound decisions.
 - Demonstrated computers skills.
 
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelors
Preferred Disciplines: Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management
Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above
