We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.
Job Summary
- This role is responsible for providing project management of complex Electric Transmission or Distribution projects and/or ownership of a Federal Privatization Contract.
- Typically lower volume and higher financial impact projects such as load projects, circuit or VDOT rearrangements, interconnect projects, substation work, new or expansion, capital upgrade projects, nontraditional work.
- Ensures project results meet requirements and provides timely and accurate information and status updates to management and internal and external customers. Responsible for complex scope, cost development, validation and/or Government cost quotes, complex permitting, work plans, and environmental studies.
- Multi-process responsibility for on base activities.
- Active participation in Re-determination negotiations.

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
- 7-8+ years demonstrated experience in project management, relevant technologies, and in the project area.
- Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
- Ability to represent the project and the company in public forums.
- Strong team building skills.
- Effective negotiating skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
