Job Summary

Compression Services has an two openings for an LDAR Monitoring Technician I or II reporting out of Charlerio, Sabinsville or Liedy.  Commensurate upon  applicants background and experience.

This LDAR Monitoring Technician role provides technical support in the regulatory area of Air Compliance to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. This role performs daily LDAR compliance work and will perform LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) surveys at Natural Gas Compressor Stations, Storage Well and M&R facilities. This position will perform a variety of data collection and inspection techniques which involves the use of multifaceted analyzers and other equipment that support the program. Candidates must be comfortable working in a highly regulated and detail oriented environment that requires strict attention to details, rules and procedures with little oversight.

Starting Salary:

LDAR Monitoring Technician I $55,400

LDAR Monitoring Technician II $62,000

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

• Provide guidance on LDAR regulations and program implementation.

•Ability to perform work in adverse weather conditions

•Ability to work at heights

•Ability to lift 60 pounds

•Ability to climb towers, ladders ascend and descend stairs

•Ability to bend, stretch, walk and climb with equipment on various walking surfaces

•Equally effective working independently or in a team environment

•Proficient oral and written communication (including technical writing) skills

•Proficient in use of computer program applications such as Microsoft office, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Associate; Bachelor
Disciplines: Preferred: Biology; Technology; Engineering Technology; Environmental Technology; Technical Studies
Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
