We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
Dominion Energy’s Audit Services team is a top-tier audit function focused on delivering high-quality assurance and advisory support to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Senior or Lead Auditor (IT) to join Audit Services. This position may be filled at the Senior Auditor or Lead Auditor level commensurate with experience.
As a Senior Auditor (IT), one plans, organizes and performs complex IT, operational and cyber audits. Duties include:
• Applies advanced audit concepts and techniques to document, analyze and evaluate systems of internal controls.
• Routinely directs efforts of audit team to accomplish audit objectives.
• Identifies significant audit findings, develops appropriate recommendations for improvement and then communicates to management through written reports and oral presentations.
• Provides consulting services to management on IT/cyber, controls or operational issues.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
As a Lead Auditor (IT), one plans, organizes and performs IT/cyber audit and advisory engagements by:
• Developing engagement planning documentation for assigned areas and developing audit programs to ensure adequate coverage of risks.
• Designing and executing appropriate audit procedures to verify the effectiveness of internal controls, governance, and risk management.
• Leading engagement teams in the performance of engagements and the preparation of clear, organized, and complete documentation to support conclusions.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with business colleagues to facilitate effective collaboration and promote Audit Services as a trusted advisor.
• Providing day-to-day advice, training and leadership to assigned staff or less experienced Auditors.
• Leading departmental planning activities, risk assessment and provides significant contribution toward attainment of goals.
• Contributing to special projects as needed.
Note: This position can be filled in Cayce, SC or Richmond, VA. This position will work a hybrid work schedule (some days in office, some days working remotely).
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Senior Auditor (IT):
5+ years of audit or related experience (such as accounting, finance) or 4+ years of public accounting experience. (Note: A Master's degree can count towards one year of experience). Other previous experience such as compliance, project management or data analytics is an acceptable substitution for audit, accounting or finance related experience.
Other knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:

- Knowledge of and experience with internal controls, compliance, and/or SOX 404 is a plus.
Lead Auditor (IT):
6+ years audit experience or 4+ years of public accounting experience. (Note: A Master's degree can count towards one year of experience).

- Comprehensive knowledge of IT/cyber and/or auditing standards.

- Strong decision-making skills.

- Subject matter expertise in IT general controls and/or NIST Cyber Security Framework.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
Preferred Disciplines: Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Cyber Security
Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
