Job Summary
Dominion Energy’s IT department is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to manage our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool, including development of security policies, standards, procedures, and complex workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT regulatory standards and requirements and experience with development and administration of a GRC tool.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop and administer GRC tool platform and other compliance-supporting applications.
- Participate in compliance-related projects using centralized platforms to develop and manage complex, compliance-based workflows.
- Application development and configuration; lead end to end development and custom application solutions.
- Manage platform administration to include data imports, user access, roles, and permission configurations.
- Execute application maintenance and upgrades.
- Provide troubleshooting and application support to multiple clients.
- Consults on risk assessments and implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products, advising clients, management, and staff.
- Collaborate with multiple business units on multi-project assignments and complex projects.
- Guides and advises less experienced Systems Security Analysts. May lead moderately complex projects.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Intermediate level 3+ or Senior level 5+ years of related experience.
- Extensive knowledge maintaining centralized platform applications and using GRC tools to develop and manage complex compliance workflows.
- Strong technical developer and administrator skills.
- Understanding of IT regulatory standards and requirements.
- Ability to document and update IT controls for compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Understanding of technical compliance concepts.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented, placing priority on quality and the successful completion of team goals.
- Demonstrated self-starter.
- Demonstrated flexibility.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Preferred Discipline(s): Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Math or Business or technical training equivalent
