We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
There is one position available which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates' education, experience, knowledge skills, and abilities.  Position can be located in Cayce, South Carolina or Richmond, Virginia.
This role is responsible for performing activities associated with analyzing, forecasting, and financial reporting related to sales and revenue activity for Dominion Energy South Carolina “DESC”. This function is critical in support of regulatory proceedings, financial planning, and long-term strategic planning. 
Responsibilities include:
- Forecast electric and gas sales and revenue.
- Analyze sales and revenue results to support monthly variance explanations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to reconcile earnings variances, prepare current year forecasts and develop long-term budgets for DESC sales and revenue.
- Perform data analytics to analyze historical trends and provide business insights.
- Performs accounting due diligence and supports revenue related SOX controls.
The successful applicant will be expected to mine large volumes of historical billed and unbilled data (including AMI data) and transform that data into useful information that will help explain revenue variances and customer electric usage over time.
- Position will be the lead in forecasting DESC’s gas peak demand and revenue forecasts.
- Leverage big data platforms to advance forecasting methodologies, explain existing and developing sales and revenue usage trends.
- Support the development of new processes to promote greater transparency of the sales and revenue function to internal customer groups
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Financial Analyst: 3-5+ years of related experience,
Senior Financial Analyst:  5+ of related experience.
Note:  A Master's degree will count as one year towards the experience requirement. 
Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience:
•    Demonstrated ability to think analytically and solve complex problems
•    Highly skilled in importing, cleaning, modeling, and visualizing data
•    Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
•    Researches and analyzes factors that impact long range sales and revenue growth
•    Experience with electric/gas utility forecasting is desired but not required.
•    Ability to process information quickly and effectively and manage multiple tasks
•    Able to take lead role in projects
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
•    Excellent analytical skills
•    Proficiency in the use of SQL query language and relational databases, and one or more major analysis software platforms such as R, Python, or SAS
•    Knowledge of building data dashboards using tools such as Power BI 
•    Understanding of sales and revenue variance reporting techniques and approaches
•    Knowledge and experience in financial planning and analysis
•    Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Preferred disciplines: Finance, Data Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or related
