We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
Dominion Energy is seeking an experienced, highly motivated senior communications specialist or communications specialist to join their Customer Communications & Insights team. The position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
Based in Cayce, South Carolina, this position works in a collaborative and integrated style with primary responsibilities to include communications strategy & planning for customer services and programs, emergency communications, regulatory & legal support, and customer events & special projects.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute communications initiatives to provide timely and accurate information to customers while supporting business objectives and enhancing the customer experience.
- Develop and execute integrated communications campaigns for customers using a variety of channels to include but not limited to email, social media, web communications, media relations and advertising.
- Support our digital care strategy alongside our customer experience team.
- Continuous learning about the energy industry, and Dominion Energy’s business operations to best communicate with customers in a meaningful way.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Communications Specialist
- Minimum of two years of marketing communications experience is required. A master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year.
Senior Communications Specialist
- Minimum of five years of marketing communications experience is required. A master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year.
Specific requirements include:
- Interest and experience in digital customer communications and marketing channels and an understanding of how the company uses them to interact with and support our customers.
- Excellent communications skills, including writing and speaking, influencing ideas and fostering collaboration using a diverse mix of communication channels.
- Understanding of both the corporate and customer service side of the business, and how they work together.
- Ability to work well on a team and responsibly manage multiple projects effectively.
- Work outside of core hours as needed, which could include some evenings, weekends and holidays for special events, storms as well as other issues and emergencies.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
