We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary
Dominion Energy has many exciting opportunities on our Supply Chain Management team as an Associate Sourcing Specialist or Sourcing Specialist, commensurate on selected candidate's knowledge skills and abilities. The selected candidates will be located at our Operations Support Center in Cayce, South Carolina.
Associate Sourcing Specialist:
- Solicits quotes, technical documentation, and relevant terms and conditions.
- Obtains standard materials and services from suppliers at the lowest cost, with consideration to quality, reliability, and need.
- Negotiates, awards, and implements contracts and purchase orders.
- Communicates with field and project personnel, to evaluate compliance with purchase contracts.
- Resolves problems regarding material delivery, price discrepancies, quality issues, invoice discrepancies, and/or adjustment.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Sourcing Specialist:
- Conducts major spend analysis by supplier, commodity, or service. Identifies potential suppliers.
- Develops and issues requests for proposal with complex pricing tables.
- Analyzes supplier proposals, performs legal and insurance reviews, and performs net present value analysis.
- Negotiates prices, delivery, insurance, performance, penalties, issue resolution, escalation, terms and conditions, and intellectual property agreements.
- Identifies and obtains cost improvements for purchased materials and services from supplier, through negotiation and continuous management.
- Develops and administers measurement tools on contract basis.
- Performs trend analysis and identifies and implements process improvements.
- Analyzes all cost and process aspects of assigned spend.
- May lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives, including the development and implementation of complex sourcing strategies.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Associate Sourcing Specialist
- 0-2 years related experience.
- General knowledge of business and contract law.

- General knowledge of materials and services delivery fulfillment processes.

Sourcing Specialist - In addition to the above experience, the Sourcing Specialist must also have:
- 2+ years related experience.
- Working knowledge of procurement practices, procedures, and policies.
- Working knowledge of business and contract law.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of MRP, ERP, and purchasing and logistics systems and processes.
- Effective human relations skills.
- General experience preferred in procuring general services to include but not limited to (pipes, valves, fuel, lubricants, compressor repair, calibration, telecommunication drilling, engineering, facilities, transportation, fleet and vegetation management services).
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
Preferred Disciplines: Business Administration, Engineering
