Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

This role supports the development and maintenance of company's consolidated budget/forecast as well as corporate strategy. Develops and leads financial analysis. Works with senior management to develop and monitor corporate strategy. Supports budget development and consolidation process. Commuicates effectively with operational areas to understand impacts of variances on financial results.

Ensures compliance with regulations, policies & procedures. May provides analysis and presentation preparation in support of investment decisions going before Investment Review Committee. Prepares studies through reports on competitors, industry trends, etc.Other duties as assigned. Some travel is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Five years of related experience.  (Note:  A Master's degree can count towards one year of experience)

Knowledge in financial management and analysis, utility and/or relevant industry, accounting standards and practices.  Skills: excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication.  Teaming, analytical and customer focus skills.Requires ability to work under limited supervision and direction.  Demonstrated expertise in consolidated financial planning and analysis, capital allocation, project financial analysis, M & A analysis, due diligence process, understanding of accounting, tax and financing principles.  Extensive knowledge of Excel and SAP.  Aptitude for continuous learning.

Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor

Preferred Disciplines:  Accounting, Business, Finance
