Job Summary

  • Perform Right Of Way maintenance including mowing and herbicide spraying, installing and maintaining fences, markers and signs, measuring, marking and maintaining ROW boundaries, conducting leak surveys, and inspecting exposures.
  • Remediate property damage.
  • Perform valve maintenance and collect liquids from system.
  • Must be available to respond to emergency call out.
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • Ability to plan and organize and work independently.
  • Ability to interpret maps, plats, blueprints, plans and surveys.
  • Ability to operate personal computer.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to operate and maintain right-of-way maintenance equipment (mowing tractors, ATVs, 18 wheeler and amphibious vehicle, etc.).
  • Ability to operate and maintain small power operated equipment (chainsaws, weed eaters, etc.).


  • 1 -2 years combined experience performing maintenance including mowing and herbicide spraying, installing and maintaining fences, markers and signs, measuring, marking and maintaining ROW boundaries, conducting leak surveys, inspecting exposures, remediating property damage, performing valve maintenance, collecting liquids from system.

Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: High School Graduate , GED
